UnitedHealth Group- Service Desk (April 2021 - Current)

  • Similar to previously mentioned Service desk work; however, this was more group policy intensive. 

  • Assisted Colorado market with expertise with Powershell by creating tools for end users to resolve common issues. 

  • Reached out to escalation points to close/remove problem vectors due to previous mergers. 

  • Helped identify issues within the market with logs and GPO testing.

Centene - Service Desk  (May 2020 - April 2021)

  • Providing a quick and precise solution or escalation in order to resolve the common issues of the company. 

  • Working with multiple applications and environments both VPN and VDI focused. 

  • Giving feedback for Knowledge Base suggestions and different ways for new service desk employees to work effectively. 

  • Running ping tests and changing VPN settings to isolate and resolve the problem.

Geek Squad - Consult Agent (June 2018- May 2020)

  • Assisted clients on a 10-20 minutes time window. 

  • Solving issues or notating the problem that needs a resolution so the computer can be solved and the original issue that the client was suffering from is addressed. 

  • Also keeping up with shipping manifests, client shipping service orders and standard service orders in order for our records to be easy to access. 

  • Maintaining organization of the paperwork as well as keeping contact with clients so they are up to date on all issues with the case.

Achievements

Created my own vpn for free with AWS

Within 3 months I reached top 10 (out of 160+) in the Centene Service Desk

Within 6 months I began working on automating common calls with Python and Powershell. (Learning modules for Computer vision and UI design to create a self service app)

Within the first 3 months of both geek squad and best buy I was considered a top performer.

Helped a California Geeksquad precinct turn from 500+ in the company to top 50 during the holiday season.

Part of a geek squad precinct that was top 10 in the US March 2019.
